We tend to have lots of excuses: I don’t have time, I don’t have enough money, it’s too hard, I’m too old, I’m too young…. Excuses are a great way to avoid doing something you ‘ought’ to do, or having something you really (deep down inside) don’t think you deserve. Human beings tend to focus on the negative (I need to lose weight, I’ll never have enough money, there’s not enough time, etc.) rather than on the positive (I want to be healthy, I deserve this, I can make time for it). Since we tend to attract what we think, is it any wonder that most people are unhappy? What would happen if you spent an entire day thinking about what you do want, in positive terms? What if you stopped yourself in the middle of an excuse, honestly stated what the real issue is (I don’t really want to do that, or I’m afraid to try that, etc.), and moved forward?

Imagine you are the creator of your life. Imagine you could manifest any thing or experience you want. Excuses would be unnecessary, because you could create or avoid whatever pleased you. Whatever came to you was because you wanted it to come. What would you manifest? What would you do with that awesome power? What difference would you make in the world?

OK, now go do it!
